Whitney Thorniley, LAc, MQP
Whitney received her Bachelor of Arts from The Naropa Institute in Boulder, CO. After working as a chef for many years she earned her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College, Berkeley. Whitney also completed a certification program in Medical Qi Gong. Whitney's interest in acupuncture began with her own powerful experiences as a patient benefiting from this effective medicine. The remarkable changes she felt in her own health coupled with her natural curiosity made it clear that Whitney needed to study Chinese Medicine. Whitney has always enjoyed working with people. She is a careful listener and a thoughtful, honest communicator. These skills are integral to how she approaches her work as a healer. Whitney was trained in painless needle insertion, and this makes for a relaxing treatment experience. Her humor is always a joyful bonus to each visit.
